A popular Nigerian event planner, Ibidun Ighodalo, is dead.
A source close to the family confirmed her death to TerryAnews on Sunday.
The deceased, who was the wife of Ituah Ighodalo, a cleric and founder of Trinity House, passed on after a brief illness.
A former beauty queen, Mrs Ighodalo won the Miss Lux title, over a decade ago.
Mrs Ighodalo’s family later confirmed her death in a statement made available to PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday.
It read, “The Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who passed away in the early hours of today.
“As you will understand, this is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some privacy during this time. All information on burial proceedings will be provided in due course”.
The statement was signed by Asue Ighodalo.
