EXCEL ESPORTS has announced a year-long partnership with food delivery company Just Eat.

Just Eat will become the official food delivery partner for the esports organisation. EXCEL and Just Eat will also work on creating content together, and Just Eat branding will feature on the jerseys of all EXCEL rosters.

Just Eat is a part of Just Eat Takeaway, a Dutch international food delivery company based in Amsterdam. The partnership with EXCEL is Just Eat’s first foray into gaming and esports. The partnership is expected to last for at least one year.

Just Eat UK Marketing Director Matt Bushby said: ‘We are delighted to be working with EXCEL to bring Just Eat into gaming in a more meaningful and impactful way over the next 12 months. We look forward to working with them on a variety of Gaming first opportunities and providing millions of hungry gamers with experiences they can’t get elsewhere.”

Just Eat and EXCEL announced that the two companies will collaborate on different types of content, including events and digital content.

The two companies noted that the focus of the partnership will also be on creating experiences that support good causes.
