Davido, the Afrobeats sensation, has enthralled fans with a spectacular visual extravaganza, releasing the music video for his chart-topping smash ‘Away’.
The superstar performer delighted fans on social media on Tuesday by announcing the long-awaited release of the video.
“Away” is a notable track from Davido’s fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’.
The video depicts Davido and his crew jet-setting across the world, boarding private jet and yachts and celebrating with champagne.
The beautiful visuals depict moments from Davido’s just completed ‘Timeless’ concert.
Real Madrid players Vinicius Jr., Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Toni Rudiger, and David Alaba also appeared in the video.
Davido has garnered many awards and recognition for his talent around the world.
The OBO Crooner rose to stardom with his 2012 single ‘Dami Duro’.
His fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’, was released in March 2023.
In March 2023, Davido rebranded his music label and commenced DMW 2.0.
He also announced the addition of Olori and Morravey to his record label.
Last year, Davido garnered his first Grammy Award nomination, earning nods in three categories.

Among these was the renowned ‘Best Global Album’ accolade for his acclaimed masterpiece, ‘Timeless’. In addition, his captivating single ‘Unavailable’ received attention in the ‘Best African Performance’ category, while the catchy beat of ‘Feel’ got him a nomination for ‘Best Global Music Performance’.
Despite the excitement and high hopes surrounding his debut at the prestigious awards ceremony, Davido did not win in any of his nominated categories at the just concluded Grammy Awards.
