Boxing legend, Mayweather storms Abuja, promises to develop local sport

Former Super Featherweight and Light Middleweight Boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr says he will invest in the development of Nigeria Boxing by organising a camp in the country.

The undefeated boxing champion was speaking during a Press Conference in Abuja ahead of his bout with fellow American and former sparring partner Dangerous Don Moore, scheduled to hold at the Showcase Skies, Dubai on 14th of May.

Mayweather also revealed he has plans to partner with the Nigeria Boxing Federation NBF and further clarified that the partnership will not be achieved overnight as some modalities will have to be sorted out between the both parties first before it becomes a reality.
