The Spain international is one of the longest-serving members in the current Red Devils squad, having been at the Old Trafford since 2011 when he arrived from Atletico Madrid.

Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, and Joel Pereira (on loan at Huddersfield Town) will all see their deals expire at the end of the campaign and expected to be on their way out. However, de Gea, who is one of the Red Devils’ top earners at £350,000-a-week, will still have two years left on his deal when the current season finishes.
