Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro, has admitted Brazil was off the pace, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Senegal on Thursday.
He has now issued a warning to their next opponents, Nigeria, making it clear they will go all out for a win on Sunday.
Selecao are winless in three successive matches (drawn two, lost one), their worst run since 2013.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Casemiro said: “Undoubtedly, it was not an expected game at the time we can play. Everyone saw it and we are sincere about it.
“But the beauty of football is that Sunday we have the opportunity to show that we are good players and a great selection.
“We have to review the errors, we have already done an analysis. And Senegal is already past.”
