The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has reacted to the N70,000 minimum wage presented to them by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu had through the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris disclosed that the Nigerian government would pay N70,000 as new minimum wage to workers.
Reacting to the development, a source in the meeting told Vanguard that organized Labour would hold NEC meeting tomorrow by 11am to present the N70,000 new minimum wage to them.

The source said NLC would decide whether to accept FG’s 70,000 minimum wage or decline after presenting it to their member’s tomorrow.
Todays meeting was attended by Labour leaders, including the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, and that of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Festus Osifo.
