Police arrest suspected killer of missing FUNAAB student

Police have arrested Ayomide Ayodele, a psychology student at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU).

Ayodele stands accused of the heinous crimes of kidnapping and murdering Idowu Christianah, a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), who was recently reported missing in Yaba, Lagos.

The case took a chilling turn as reports surfaced revealing Ayodele’s dark past.

It has been alleged that in 2022, he was responsible for the murder of his own sister, a crime that had remained unsolved until now.

Further investigations have uncovered that Ayodele also allegedly murdered his ex-girlfriend under similarly disturbing circumstances.

The most recent victim, Idowu Christianah, was said to be a friend of Ayodele. The tragic sequence of events unfolded after Ayodele reportedly abducted Christianah and subsequently demanded a ransom of three million Naira from her distraught parents. Despite receiving the ransom, Ayodele allegedly committed the unforgivable act of murdering Christianah.

Police spokespersons have confirmed that Ayodele Ayomide is in custody and will face charges in court.

The authorities have assured the public that justice will be pursued vigorously in this case, as they work to unravel the full extent of Ayodele’s criminal activities.
