Osun State Governor, Adeleke Pays 11-Month Backlog Of Half Salaries, Blames Oyetola, Aregbesola For Osun Workers’ Suffering

It was a breath of fresh air at Osun state, as a fresh wave of nerve-soothing credit alerts swept through Osun State, as Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke approved yet another tranche of the long-overdue half-salary payments cruelly withheld by the previous APC-led administration.

As many beneficiaries confirmed receiving their alerts, one thing became crystal clear which aligns with my spirit and reading of our leader : Governor Adeleke is not just governing, he is healing.

As I have often said, this is the very essence of leadership; to prioritize the well-being of the people, to restore dignity to labour, and to wipe the tears of those unjustly shortchanged by a system that once chose to ignore their cries and danced over many early graves.

It is unfortunate, yet not surprising, that the same elements who orchestrated the era of ruin and pain under the APC are now actively using their federal connections to frustrate this steady redemption. They see progress and panic. They see life and lament. They thrive in chaos, and rejoice when citizens suffer. But thankfully, Osun has moved on and upward at that.

Despite their wicked schemes, Governor Adeleke continues to race ahead with new flanks of development- building roads, reviving health facilities, empowering farmers, supporting grassroots cooperative societies with millions in funding, and breathing life into social welfare systems, etc. The pace of development is breathtaking, and for the enemies of progress, unbearable.

The payment is not just about money, it is about keeping promises. Governor Adeleke made a sacred vow during his campaign: to fully clear the unjust wage debts of Osun workers. And as he often says, this is a vow not just to the people, but to God Almighty, who used the voice of the people to place him in office.

He will not relent. He cannot be deterred. The mission to rebuild Osun is alive, and no amount of sabotage can stop what has been divinely ordained.

Let the opposition rage. Let the bitter ones scheme. But in Osun today, governance is working, and lives are being restored.

Governor Adeleke is not only fulfilling promises, he’s fulfilling purpose.
