OSUN GOVT Takes Family Planning Campaign To Alekuwodo, Osogbo To Commemorate International Women’s Day (PHOTO NEWS)

FAMILY Planning Stakeholders in Osun State took the campaign to the Centre of Osogbo, the capital of the state on Friday, March 8, 2024 in commemoration of the International Women’s Day.

 

 

The campaign took place at Alekuwodo Market area to the admiration of the beneficiaries who are mostly market women, ‘Korope’ Drivers and ‘Okada’ Riders who enjoyed free condoms for men and women.

Speakers took turns to educate their ‘clients’ the importance and benefits of Family Planning and the need to be educated and not being idle and relying on their husbands for their daily financial expenses.

 

The audiences including men are urged to abstain from rape and domestic violence that can endanger their lives.

Husbands and and wives are encouraged to come together to plan their family to enjoy a better life for the benefits of the parents and children.

 

The campaign was led by the Osun State Coordinator for Family Planning, Mrs. Ololade Abatan.
