POPULAR Singer, Singer Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command over the death of IleriOluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.

 

 

 

The Public Relations Officer of the Command,  SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated this on his official X handle available to TerryANews that Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation on the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad.

Meanwhile, The Punch reported on Tuesday that Marley arrived in Lagos to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad.

 

 

The singer revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he’d also be meeting with the police.

 

 

He wrote,

“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.

“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

 

 

In a statement last Tuesday, Naira Marley vowed to clear his name and prove innocence of his involvement in the death of Mohbad.

 

 

 

The Marlian Music added that he was ready to assist the Police investigation surrounding the MohBad’s death.
