Priscilla Ojo, popular Nigerian influencer and daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has officially embraced Islam.
The revelation was made by her husband Juma Jux during an exclusive interview with Afrik Media, where he confirmed that his wife had converted from Christianity to Islam after their wedding earlier this year — a lavish, cross-border ceremony that captivated fans across Nigeria and Tanzania.
Speaking on the spiritual transition, Juma admitted that it wasn’t an easy decision for Priscilla and that convincing her required patience, guidance, and support from Islamic scholars.
“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim,” Juma said. “But I received guidance from religious leaders who taught me how to handle the situation with care. With time, she came to understand and accept the faith.”
He further explained that the clerics played a pivotal role in equipping him with the wisdom and approach needed to help Priscilla explore and eventually embrace Islam on her own terms.
Reflecting on their widely celebrated wedding, Juma shared that he had envisioned the entire experience before it happened. “I had a dream about my wedding. Everything played out just as I saw it,” he said. “I’m lucky to have found someone who shares the same values and goals.”
