Fortunately, no lives were lost. Residents attributed this to the swift intervention of firefighters, which prevented the inferno from spreading further.

The General Manager of Fire Services in Oyo State, Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident, noting that the fire was reported at No. 51, Debo Plaza, opposite Lam Adesina Junction, Felele, Ibadan.
