FG Says Visa Applications to Go Online System Before March 1

The Federal Government has announced that by March 1, all visa applications will transition to a fully online system.

Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this disclosure during a live session on ‘X Spaces’ hosted by influencer Segun Awosanya, highlighting the strides being made to centralize and streamline Nigeria’s visa processes.

Tunji-Ojo unveiled a centralised visa approval center aimed at enhancing uniformity, curbing corruption, and bolstering national security.

“This initiative is a game-changer,” he remarked, emphasizing its role in eliminating loopholes that foster fraud and inefficiency.

Furthermore, the minister revealed the establishment of an 8.3-petabyte data center at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex.
