Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles has filed for divorce from her second husband, actor Richard Lawson, after eight years of marriage.

In the documents, Tina also asks ‘to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support’ to Richard, 76, or her.
Tina and Richard got married in April 2015. They do not have any kids together.

Tina, born Celestine Ann Beyonce had changed her name to Celestine Lawson when she wed Richard, and reportedly wants to change it back to Celestine Knowles, the name of her first husband.
Tina shares two kids with her first husband, Mathew Knowles, 71: superstar daughter Beyonce, 41 and singer and actress Solange, 37.
In 2019, she split from her kids father. The pair were married for 31 years from 1980 to 2011.
They separated after it emerged Mathew, who managed daughter Beyonce until 2011, had fathered a love child with former Scrubs actress Alexsandra White.
White gave birth to their son Nixon on February 4, 2010, following an 18-month affair with Mathew.
