the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United have been ruled out from signing Frenkie de Jong and Chelsea are in a much better position.
As per today’s version of Mundo Deportivo (news image provided below), Chelsea are ready to submit a bid to sign the Dutch international but only on one condition.
The Spanish news source have mentioned that the Blues want to get the “Yes” from the 25-year-old midfielder first before making Barcelona an offer to get his signing done.

It is stated that the Stamford Bridge outfit were able to convince Sevilla and Leeds to sell Kounde and Raphinha but the duo preferred to move to Barcelona.
