South Africa gives Super Falcons of Nigeria bitter pills in Women Africa Cup of Nations

Bayana Bayana of South Africa (Women) on Monday defeated Nigeria’s Super Falcons 2-1 in the opening match, Group C of the 12th Women Africa Cup of Nations.

Nine-time champions and FIFA World Cup ever-present Nigeria were also defeated by South AFrica 10 months ago and on home soil in the final match of the first edition of Aisha Buhari Women’s Tournament.
