Suspected bandits have abducted a couple and their daughter in Sabuwar Unguwa area of Katsina city.
It was gathered that the bandits invaded the area around 3:00 am on Monday night, August 25, 2025, shooting sporadically.
Journalist, Bakatsine, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, said the bandits killed a vigilante member before abducting Anas Ahmed, his wife, Halimatu and daughter.

“Yesterday night, bandits attacked Sabuwar Unguwa area, behind NAK Steel company in Katsina city. One VGN member was k!lled, and a young family was abducted from their home. What we once heard from afar is now at our doorstep,” he wrote.
