Driver hospitalized as tanker carrying 50,000 litres of AGO tumbles in Ibadan (READ DETAILS)

A motor apprentice whose identity has not been revealed has been hospitalised.

It was reported that the apprentice was hospitalised as a result of injuries he sustained during an accident which involved him and his boss.

The accident occurred when their tanker carrying fifty thousand litres of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) lost control and tumbled.

It was learnt that the driver and the apprentice were in the tanker when the tanker lost control on Wednesday.

Investigation by newsmen revealed that the incident occurred at Jin-Jofes Petroleum Station at Iwo Road area of Ibadan.

It was learnt that no life was lost, but the apprentice sustained some injuries.

He was later rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Chairman, Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
