A middle-aged man, simply identified as Ahmed, has allegedly killed his grandfather and uncle in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
TERRY A NEWS reports that the incident occurred in Apete, a suburb of Ibadan, in Ido local government area of the state, around 6 pm on Sunday.
Policemen from Apete Divisional Police Headquarters were alerted shortly after the incident.
TERRY A NEWS gathered that the victims reside in the same place with the suspect.
Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident.
Osifeso in a short statement made available to OUR CORRESPONDENT Monday morning said that investigation had commenced on the matter.
He said,
“The command has indeed received the complaint of a male suspect who allegedly killed his grandfather and his uncle.
“Investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances behind the incident. Updates concerning the case would be provided accordingly, please”.
