Chidinma had previously said in 2021 that she had converted to Christianity and would no longer perform secular songs.
The ‘Kedike’ crooner discussed her decision to stop performing secular music in a video uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday.
She claimed that while she had been striving for fulfillment, she had been unable to achieve it until she reconnected with her source (God).

In her words;
“I was looking for my fulfilment but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source.”
The singer also discussed how her encounter with God changed the course of her life, noting that she now finds serenity and purpose in her new position as a gospel minister.
