IT was a mixed blessing for the Captain of Cameroon National team, Vincent Abubakar at the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abubakar who scored the winning goal for his country to become the first African team to defeat Brazil in World Cup was highly elated to the extent that he removed his Jersey in celebration which is against FIFA rules.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He got two Yellow Cards, then a Red Card. He was matched out of the pitch.

He scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute to defeat Brazil. He took off his shirt to celebrate and showed everybody the number 10. When he saw the referee coming towards him, he knew what was about to happen.

He saluted the referee with a smile, double yellow for taking off his shirt and was sent off. Not even the referee could help but smile. Beautiful scene.
