New Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro, has clearly impressed a lot of the country’s football faithful with how he led his first couple of training sessions as the new tactician.
Peseiro, two weeks ago, was announced as the Eagles new coach after interim coach Austin Eguavoen quit the position following the country’s failure to go past West African arch-rivals, Ghana, and book a place at the Qatar World Cup.
The three-time African champions lost 2-1 to Mexico in their first game under the Portuguese tutelage but the 62-year-old tactician remained adamant that his side would improve with time.

As the team prepare for their Thursday’s friendly against Ecuador, the Eagles media team released the training session video, and some fans on Twitter really enjoyed what they saw.
Some fans share what they think about Peseiro’s training session.
Dele Esie wrote, “It’s like this new coach will make the boys sweat…They seem to be training now unlike before when it was just photos…show ups and no football.”
Another Twitter user Salmak said, “Who else noticed that their training has improved…because before it’s only jogging, running and talking.”
